RJ Arkhipov

A young and talented Welsh poet. His first volume of poetry, Visceral, was published by Zuleika in 2018. He has since modelled for further sculpture and a series of body prints.

The Sculptor
Ode to Ian Rank-Broadley

He fixed me with an earthen gaze
And truthward, His caress
Bestilled my errant youth in clay
Immortalised the flesh
Near yesterdays bereft of span
Reapt a suspicion sown
And, wounds abloom, my sinews sang
“Am I the poet or the poem?”
