Barge Horse & Man

Commissioned by the Berkeley Group for a new development in a disused canal basin at 250 City Road, London. This sculpture commemorates the working people of the canal waterways. Horse power was used to move the heavily laden barges during the 18th & 19th centuries, and into the 20th century.
